First Bath!

A few days after we got home, Alexander was ready for his first bath. I looked forward to and dreaded this, Matthew absolutely hated his first bath and screamed bloody murder the whole time. This time around I made sure the water was a lot warmer than the recommended 94 or so degrees. Come on, his body temp is 98 and he was in my womb that was 98 degrees or more, so wouldn't 94 seem cold? Anyways, once he got over the initial part of being naked, which hates and noticed that the water was warm, he settled down and I actually think he enjoyed it. Matthew was very eager to help until he heard Alexander cry. Then he just stood back. When I started to wash his head with the rag Matthew got upset and said "no no no Mommy don't do that!" very seriously and concerned. I asked why, did he think that I was hurting him. and he said, "yes, it hurts him". I told him no it didn't, "look he's not crying, he likes it, do you want to wash his head with the rag?" He said "NO" very firmly! It was funny, Matthew being so concerned and even scared for his baby brother!
