HPU Homecoming '09

This past weekend we went to Brownwood for HPU Homecoming and had a lot of fun with a lot of old and new friends. We were having so much fun, that I didn't take as many pics as I would have liked, but had a good time until the end when we all got really sick.
I took Matthew to the building where I had all my history classes and in that building it has several historical rooms. I only took him to one, the Hall of Civilization which highlights the history of Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. As you walk in it's like you are walking into an Egyptian Tomb or pyramid. He of course recognized and pointed out the Hieroglyphics. Which he learned from Little Einsteins. When I went to visit an old history prof, he and another one that graduated with me was just shocked that a 3 year old knew what they were let alone say the word!

That night(Friday night) we went to a HS football game with my old college roomie and her family(which we were also staying with) Matthew had a great time, mostly with the band, and some older boys! Matthew just loves music and really got a kick out of the band, just dancing and clapping with the band and naming all the instruments he could see, he knows quite a few!

Meeting the mascot

His new friends. These older boys knew my roomie and her kids and just took to Matthew. Matthew just loves playing with and getting attention from older boys, and they took great care of him . They took him to meet the mascot and kept him from falling down the bleachers

He was enamored with the band at the HPU game, just stood there and watched them march and play.
Clapping with the fight song

Putting his stinger up "STING 'EM JACKETS"

After the game we went to a fall festival at my friends daughter's school. For the first time Matthew got in the jumping houses! This one was an obstacle course.

Played a game of golf and he got a hole in one twice in a row.

All the kids laying in Matthew's little bed. Makayla is 5, Haydon in the middle is 3 and Hudson in the front is just about to turn 2! Hudson is a BIG BOY!!
