Our Smart Little Puzzler

As a reward for Matthew doing his #2 business in the potty, I decided to get him a puzzle. He wanted a John Deere puzzle, but they only come in 60 pieces. I wasn't completely sure he was ready for that many pieces. He has been doing 25 piece puzzles for a long time now, which are considered to be ages 4-7. He loves puzzles and it just amazes how quickly he can put them together and the manner it which he does it. He doesn't look at the picture, he looks at the indivdual pieces and sees which ones go together and then works from there. So anyways, Gaelan said to go ahead a get it, and that he probably would do great. So we did. We used it and a cartoon to keep him busy while we were putting the bed together. I decided to time him on how long it took him to do the puzzle. Now keep in mind that he was watching a cartoon while working the puzzle, it took him under 30 min from the time he took out the first piece till the time he put the last piece in. I was amazed, it probably would have taken me a little longer to do it while looking at the picture on the box. UNDER 30 MIN, that's only 30 seconds per piece!! We helped him only on a couple of pieces.
I am just amazed on how smart my little boy is!!
