"I cook chilli!!"

Matthew and I had some left over chilli the other night and he kept saying that he wanted to 'cook chilli". Even after we ate some and I asked him if he wanted some more, he said no, "just cook chilli". I explained to him that we couldn't cook it unless we were eating it. I thought that he understood. I left the storage bowl out on the table. A little while later Matthew comes into the living room saying "I cook chilli" and looking like this!

I was in shocked and upset, but all I could do was laugh! I took him into the kitchen to inspect the mess and prepare for a long discussion of why we don't play in the kitchen and such, but amazingly the only mess was on his face!

I asked him exactly what it was he was doing to get to this point and this is what he showed me.
Another example of why silence isn't always golden, I thought he was in his room playing with a puzzle, the only time besides sleeping that he is quiet!
Ah the joys of motherhood. LOL
