To get Matthew to eat more than goldfish and cherrios, we let him sit in our lap and feed him off our plate. While doing this, he decided that he wanted to control the fork, so we let him; anything to get him to eat! Now he is almost a pro. He likes to stab the food and gets upset when we take it away from him. Today I let him go at it on his own against a turkey dog, he did really well and so I went out and got him some plastic baby forks, we will see if it works as well and if he will accept the baby fork over the shiny adult one.
