Matthew's New Little Friends

A couple of weekends ago, Daddy and Papa were cleaning out the barn and Matthew saw some little lizard eggs in some wood. So they took some and put them in a jar. Well the next day we found a couple of new baby lizards in the jar. We let one go, but one wanted to stay longer, since then 2 more friends hatched. Matthew was excited, but we had to explain to him that we couldn't keep them as pets. We told him that they didn't make good pets, and that God made them to live in the wild. He understood and then got into letting them go when they were ready!

There was another one that hatched later and still a few more eggs in there, so we might have more, but a great lesson for Matthew!
