Mimmi(Gaelan's Mom) had a SSA conference in Corpus Christi this past week.(Wed-Fri) She invited all of us and Dad to come the weekend after to celebrate our Anniversary's (there's on 14th -40th and ours on the 16th-8th). We thought that Gaelan would be out of town for the end of the week and I didn't want to be home alone so Mimmi invited Matthew and me to go with her on Wed and Gaelan and Dad to join us on Friday. Gaelan ended up not going but wanted us to go and have fun anyway...such a great guy! So we went. Well Dad wasn't able to make it, but had a great time and missed him. All together we were there 5 days!! Anyways so we got there about 11am on Wed and Mimmi went to her meetings and Matthew and I hung out at the pool.

Last year Matthew had a swimmer vest and arm floaties and could swim around the pool like anyone else, we just after a few minutes in the water with just the floaties he remembered to "kick and paddle" and he got around like a little fish or as he says "big boy fish".
The water was 3 and half feet deep so he can't touch, he was swimming!
Even with a bat and ball in his hands...LOL
After her meeting we went out to eat with Mimmi and some of her friends. They had a fish tank and He had a blast watching the fish, later he took his marker box over there and one fish was just enamored with it and would follow it around and such, it was neat; how Matthew figured that out, we don't know.
Our day was great and relaxing and couldn't wait to have fun again tomorrow!
